US Suffers Nearly $1.9 Billion in Military Losses During Iran Conflict
The United States is alleged to have lost nearly $1.9 billion worth of military equipment during the first four days following the start of its attacks against Iran.
The largest loss is reported to be the AN/FPS-132 early warning radar system located at Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar, belonging to the United States. The radar, valued at approximately $1.1 billion, was struck and damaged in a missile attack carried out by Iran on Saturday, which was also confirmed by Qatar.
On Sunday, three F-15E Strike Eagle fighter jets were shot down as a result of friendly fire by Kuwaiti air defence systems. The total replacement cost of the three aircraft is estimated at around $282 million.
According to assessments, several other military facilities and systems in the region were also damaged, bringing the total estimated losses to nearly $1.9 billion.
